Carnaval Parade Update

The 2010 Carnaval Parade will be held on February 13 starting at 9 PM. PLEASE NOTE that the starting time has changed from 10 PM to 9 PM. If you are participating in the parade, please arrive with your car or float at the corner of Constitución and Venustiano Carranza by 8 PM at the latest.

Free or Cover? Early or Late?

Club Mañana has many options, both early and late, with or without cover charges:

☼ Club Mañana's dance club always charges a cover, which start at $70 pesos. We charge cover because we are worth it. Enjoy world-class DJs, dance shows, hot go-gos, strippers, state-of-the-art lighting and effects and more in our open-air dance floor and patio, recently listed by Out.com as one of the "60 Greatest Gay Bars in the World."

☼ Even though Club Mañana charges a cover, Puerto Vallarta locals are welcome for free with a small "consumo minimo" (usually $25 pesos). We do charge a "special events cover" for locals during some very special events (New Years Eve, for example), such as concerts and some off-site parties (such as The White Party at Oscar's).

☼ El Barcito, El Cafecito and El Cabaret Restaurant don't have a cover (except for the occasional show. The Original Dirty Bitches at the Club Mañana Skybar doesn't have a cover either. We have very appealing happy hour prices in all of these locations.

☼ El Pianito has shows regularly for which there is cover but every night - usually from 10 PM on - there is no longer any cover and El Pianito is available for your cover-free enjoyment.

☼ Club Mañana opens late and goes late, usually 10 PM until 6 in the morning and is busy from the moment it opens until we shovel your happy faces out when the sun is about to come up. But, our restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and some of our bars - El Barcito, El Pianito - open up and are busy quite early (6 PM and 9 PM respectively). Shows start as early as 8 PM.

The Dirty Bitches at Club Mañana

 The Original Dirty Bitches (Diva, Jaqueline, Angelica and Marlen) - Puerto Vallarta's most famous drag troupe and show - moves to Club Mañana's new Skybar beginning Sunday January 17 with shows every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM. We couldn't be happier that the girls are joining us! There is no cover for this show and a special reduced-price drink menu! All martinis, manhattans and cosmos are half-price during the show! Beers are only $15 pesos.

 

Enter Club Mañana's Skybar through the El Cabaret Restaurant at Basilio Badillo #284. Come early and have some incredible Italian Food first or save dinner until later. El Cabaret serves dinner until midnight and lighter fare until 4 AM.
 
Puerto Vallarta Carnaval 2010 Parade

Club Mañana will again sponsor a Carnaval Parade this year for the south side (Olas Altas) area. Everyone is welcome to participate. This year, the parade will be held on Saturday, February 13 from 10 PM to midnight and the theme is "Love and Happiness." All floats and cars should expand on and relate to the theme (remember, Feb. 14 is Valentine's Day). For more information or if you'd like your business or organization to enter a float or car in the parade, please fill out this form.

      Democrats Abroad is another money-gathering "charity" that funds Paul Crist and his ambitions (and probably his hotel staff, we don't know). What we do know is that Paul Crist IS Democrats Abroad and we suspect that the other names listed are more of his alter-egos, like all those "people" on Gary Beck's Yahoo board who are, in fact, Paul Crist. What does Democrats Abroad do? They throw events to gather donations. What else? Nothing that we know about. Like Paul Crist's other organizations that are fronts for his hate campaign against people he doesn't like, avoid this like Swine Flu. And for God's sake do not give them any money!
    • V.E.S.V.E.S. (113)
      V.E.S. (Vallarta Enfrenta de SIDA) sounds nice - Vallarta confronts AIDS - but the organization has no qualified personnel or programs to do testing, outreach, or anything health-related. It is purely a front organization to solicit donations which fund Hotel Mercurio and it's war to close down businesses it doesn't like, among them Club Mañana; VES is a front for hate. Avoid it and for God's sake, don't give them any money!

Despite a lack of any popular demand and in direct defiance of the city's new Trash and Recycling Ordinance (it was confirmed that Rachel is NOT biodegradable, as many suspected), The Kinsey Sicks ("America's Favorite Dragapella Quartet") will return to Puerto Vallarta and perform in the Theater at Mañana's brand new Sky Terrace on February 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15 and 17, 2010. All shows are at 9 PM except Feb. 11 and 14, which occur at 8 PM and are held in El Cabaret's Theater.
