  Oscar's is a great restaurant in a beautiful view. You'll find Oscar's at the tip of Rio Cuale island, where both sides of the river meet before emptying into the ocean. The food and the service is wonderful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Yahoo's Puerto Vallarta Gay Travel Board (434)
  This forum is without a doubt the WORST place to find accurate information about gay Puerto Vallarta. It is seeded and censored heavily by bitter and nasty moderator Gary Beck and Hotel Mercurio owner Paul Crist (who pretends to be dozens of different people on this board with the moderator's full knowledge and blessing; probably half of the frequent posters are really him - Mike Sanchez Hernandez, Henry Ludwig, Mountain Bike Guy, Edmontonmen, etc. etc. etc.) with the goal of trying to make Hotel Mercurio and Frida Bar look good and the many people and places they don't like (like Club Mañana) look bad. Sadly, it was once a decent board and therefore has many subscribers who probably don't realize they're being misled. It is truly a nasty place dominated by a few really bad people with really bad agendas. If you must read this board (it's definitely not required reading) do so with a grain of salt and only at home. You'll want to take a shower afterward. If you are a member of this board, unsubscribe.

  If you're craving the best-looking male strippers in town, Casanova's is the place to go. The crowd is made up equally of straight women and gay men but that doesn't stop the fun from happening. Down the block from Club Mañana on the corner of Constitución and Lazaro Cardenas. Check it out!

Lea DeLaria announces new 2010/2011 season at Club Mañana's El Pianito Lounge

Lea DeLaria has been a professional lesbian since the 1980s, before that she freelanced. Her eclectic career races thru comedy with TV specials and film roles onto The Great White Way with leads in 3 BROADWAY MUSICALS. She has 4 records out on the Warner Jazz Label and was the featured vocalist for THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NEWPORT JAZZ FESTIVAL. Lea works and tours constantly (with musical director Janette Mason) and brings her one of a kind blend of in-your-face comedy and sophisticated music to you at Mañana's El Pianito piano bar at Basilio Badillo #284 every high season. Recently concluding her wildly success winter 2009/2010 season, Lea has announced new shows at El Pianito for winter 2010/2011, including a very special Christmas show. The lovely Joanna announced her return to Mañana for her highly anticipated fifth season. Joanna's show will run all of high season (December 2010 - April 2011). Previous seasons have always been incredibly popular, selling out regularly. Ron Pass has just finished up his wildly successful and enjoyable first season at El Pianito and has returned to the glamor of Las Vegas. But please don't despair as Ron will return for his second season in Puerto Vallarta at Club Mañana's El Pianito Lounge in December 2010. We'll announce the exact dates closer to opening but Ron will definitely be here for Christmas with all of his El Pianito comrades: Joanna and Lea DeLaria.
